Taking orders now for our all natural, grass-fed, pasture-raised Icelandic lamb – $3.50/lb hanging weight, plus butcher fees for cut & wrap ($65 per lamb). Processing will occur September 18th.
Icelandics are a heritage breed, traditionally slaughtered at 4-5 months, giving a smaller quantity (usually 25-30 lbs) of fine-textured and very tender meat that is high in omega-3 fatty acids and iron. We never use any hormones or antibiotics (other than as necessary for sick animals), and we do not use any chemicals on our pastures. Processing occurs in a USDA licensed facility and meat will come in vacuum-sealed custom packaging.
